THE RISE AND RISE OF AVELEY FC

Aveley's 2-1 win over Hemel Hempstead Town put them level on points with Yeovil Town at the top of the Vanarama South Division - I don't think not even the most ardent fan of the club would of thought this would be the case after sixteen games played.

If you go back a decade to the 13/14 season the Essex club had finished 13th in the Isthmian North Division with  an average home league crowd of 80This season they have an  average of 461

In 2017 The Millers moved to their new ground Parkside after playing at Mill Field since 1952. They won the Isthmian North title in the 2021/22 season and surprised many fans with a fourth place finish in the 22/23 Premier Division winning the play-off final at Hornchurch. Former Concord Rangers boss Danny Scopes has been in place since November 2021.

WHERE WILL THEY FINISH THIS SEASON?
