FOUR GOALS AND THREE POINTS FOR HATFIELD TOWN AGAINST ORACLE COMPONENTS

MATCH PLAYED ON SATURDAY 1st OCTOBER 2022

Hatfield Town ended a run of five games without a win by recording a good 4-2 win over Oracle Components at their new home of The County Ground in Letchworth Garden City. 

Sepehr Kiomarsi, Andy Morris (2) and Matthew Nfodjo scored the goals against a hard-working Oracle side, promoted from Division One last season, who won at 2021/22 champion's Belstone on the opening day of the campagin but have since drawn one and lost three games in the league. 

The Stagz followed this win up with a 1-3 win at Division One side Waltham Cross in the Aubery Cup today. They revisit Theobalds Lane (the 3G pitch) next weekend with tough looking game at Bush Hill Rangers who after five wins in row lost last weekend at home to Colney Heath Reserves. 

It was the first time since Octover 2021 that Hatfield Town have scored four goals in a league game with the last time being at St Albans City Reserves when they won by the same score line.
