A DAN HARPER DOUBLE - LEMSFORD GAIN A POINT WITH A LAST MINUTE EQUALISER

Dan Harper was at the double for Lemsford at Sandridge Rovers on Tuesday evening. He scored just after half time for the visitors to make it 0-1 only for the home side to gain a highly debatable penalty kick with the resultant spot kick skyed over the bar. Sandridge Rovers kept the pressure on with former Hadley FC youth player Lord Mansoh impressive on the right side of midfield going forward and equalised via Oliver Manoocheri who also plays for the England Men's Deaf Football team. It was 2-1 when Joel Agyeman cut in from the edge of the box on the left hand side and his low shot beat the keeper.

It was looking like Rovers were going to record their first league win of the season but it wasn't to be as Harper pounced on a back pass to make it 2-2 with what was the last kick of the game at 8.36pm.

Lemsford travel to the end of the Piccadilly Line tomorrow playing Cockfosters Reserves at Chalk Lane with Sandridge Rovers on the road also with a trip to Cuffley.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

This was the first visit I've had to Sandridge Rovers since April 2012 when Letchworth Garden City Eagles won 2-3 in a Herts Senior County League game - How time flies?
