VICTORY OVER LITTLE OAKLEY SENDS MATT HANNING'S SIDE ON THE ROAD TO WEMBLEY

Extra time goals from Reece Barrett and Ayo Odukaya sent Enfield FC through to the next round of the Buildbase FA Vase in last Tuesday's replay game against Little Oakley.

It was the The Acorns second season in the competition - they lost 1-10 to another Essex Senior League in Tower Hamlets in 2017/18. The fact they drew 2-2 in first game against The E's the previous Saturday and ran their opponents very close in the this game shows how far they have come in the last year. Matt Hanning's side face a home tie against Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Leverstock Green in the second round which is due to to be played (i think) on Sunday 4th November due to their landlord's Harlow Town being in action on the Saturday.
