ALL SQUARE BETWEEN BUCKINGHAM ATHLETIC AND BRIMSDOWN

A late Jacob Williamson goal was enough for Buckingham Athletic to collect a point in a 1-1 draw at Brimsdown in the Spartan South Midlands League Division One on Saturday. The home side had scored in the first half via Albi Halil and had hit the post in the second half. All in all a point a piece was probably the right result in a game played in rainy horrible conditions throughout  the 90 minutes.

Athletic now have a league record of 3 wins, 2 draws and 5 defeats in their 10 games played. They have scored 21 goals and let in 26.

Brimsdown have 2 wins, 4 draws and 6 defeats in their 11 games played with 15 scored and 22 conceded.

Buckingham Athletic now have a busy run of five home games at Stratford Fields as follows -

Saturday 2nd November - Hillingdon Borough
Tuesday 5th November - Rayners Lane (Division One Cup)
Saturday 9th November - Wallingford Town (Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy)
Tuesday 12th November - London Lions
Saturday 16th November - Rayners Lane

Brimsdown, currently ground-sharing with BetVictor Isthmian League side Ware at Wodson Park have struggled to attract crowds with the following crowds recorded so far this season -

Rayners Lane - 31
Enfield Borough - 21
London Tigers - 10
Winslow United - 15
Bedford - 8
Stotfold - 31
Buckingham Athletic - 19
(Average - 19.28)

If you're free and about in the Ware area why not pay them a visit and give them some much needed support. Their next six games are on the road with their next game at Wodson Park coming on Saturday 30th November when Amersham Town visit. They have a midweek trip to fellow Division One side Ampthill Town in the League Challenge Trophy on Tuesday evening.
