VITAL VICTORY FOR THE EAGLES BUT BOTH TEAMS STILL IN DANGER OF RELEGATION

Former Harlow Town player Timothy Obisanya's second half strike to win Stotfold's game against London Tigers was a vital goal in the battle to avoid the drop in the Spartan South Midalnds League Premier Division. The Eagles victory was important and rightly celebrated but their Manger Marce Collington will know his team are still in danger of relegation with six games to play.

London Tigers, who played well against title challengers Hadley last week, were very unlucky not to get anything from this game as they created a number of good chances to score after Obisanya's strike and put the Stotfold back line under lots of pressure. Both teams are now level on points with each other with Cockfosters who have played thirty-four games two points above them as the below table shows. There are two very important games tomorrow evening as The Tigers travel to London Colney and Stotfold go to North Greenford United. A win would see them leapfrog Cockfosters - Only the bottom two are scheduled to be relegated at the end of the season.
