WARE RECORD A NICE 5-0 VICTORY VERSUS HARLOW TOWN IN THE VELOCITY TROPHY

It was local derby time at Wodson Park last Tuesday night as Harlow Town visited Ware for a Velocity Trophy Group Three game. Both sides played strong XI's with Liam Hope, Sam Chaney and Dan Rumens featuring for Ware and Syrus Gordon, Ozzy Adenji and De'Juane Taylor Crossdale starting for the visitors.

Taylor-Crossdale (who came through the Reading FC academy before representing a number of local non-league clubs) looked threatening on the left wing for The Hawks in the early stages with Ware right back Williams Danquah pushing forward this gave him more room to work in. Danquah's positive runs were very impressive and his hard work created chances for the home side.

After Liam Hope opened the scoring on 24 minutes with a brilliant header from close range it was all the home side from then on. Leigh Rose made it 2-0 prior to half time with Dave Kendall heading home and Liam Hope getting another header in the second half. Kyle Roberts who was making his first start for Ware scored on 86 minutes which capped off a good performance for him.
