Both teams will take away many positives from the game played between Herts Senior County Division One side Buntingford Town and Thurlow Nunn First Division South side Wormley Rovers yesterday in the searing Hertfordshire heat at Cottered Village Hall. The forecast stated it would be around 28 degrees at the 1pm kick off and it certainly felt like that with only minimal shade available on one side of the pitch. The pitch, which hasn't been played on for a number of seasons, had been prepared by a group of volunteers in the days leading up to the game - Well done to all involved!
