Sporting Bengal United made the short trip from Mile End to Barkingside last night. The two Essex Senior League teams played out their first competitive match together in the League Cup Second Round First Leg at a very blustery and windy Oakside.

What a game it was for the 98 people in attendance ??  It was a fantastic advert for non-league football and in particular the Essex Senior League.  I won’t write much about the game as it will spoil it for those who don’t know the result who want to watch the highlights below.

You always knew it was going to good with Sporting Bengal decked out in a luminous yellow kit and the game starting with a red ball!!!
