ROMFORD EDGE IT (JUST!!) IN CRICKLEFIELD'S CRACKER

Ilford welcomed local rival's Romford to Cricklefield Stadium on Wednesday night in what turned out to be a really entertaining Ryman Division One (North) game. As ever there was the small band of loyal Ilford fans present along with a decent travelling contingent from nearby Romford and a good group of local ground hoppers.

The Cold End won't spoil it by stating the score in this game but just say it really could of finished about 5-5 in the end. Match highlights are below including all the goals.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
do not adjust the picture...the floodlights at Ilford are not the best for filming games.

What is disappointing to see is that the main stand at Cricklefield has, since the cold end's last visit back in August, been at the hands of some senseless and mindless vandals. The ground has it's critics but the main stand is decent enough for this level of football so to see defaced and spray painted is very sad indeed.
