Match played on Tuesday 13th November 2018
Tower Hamlets recorded a memorable victory at Sawbridgeworth Town in the Essex Senior League Errington Challenge Cup last Tuesday. The game started with a bang with the visitors scoring a cracking goal from outside of the box only for the home side to score to make it 1-1 after around five minutes. Hamlets scored a second to make it 1-2 and looked in control of the game only to be reduced to ten men when their player was adjudged to have used his arm/elbow in a challenge - see mini highlights from 0.38secs.
Sawbridgeworth then had lots of possession and made it 2-2 early in the second half but the East London side regrouped and looked the better side even with 10 men and made it 2-3. It was a really exciting game with Hamlet's going close to make it a more comfortable victory and Sawbridgeworth putting the pressure on towards the end of the game but unable to find a goal.
The extended match highlights are 28 minutes long!
