SARRATT WIN BIG AT CODICOTE

Sarratt's 2-4 win at Codicote on Tuesday evening will be a memorable one for the visitors as it was a great performance and the first time since Monday 3rd January 2022 that they had scored four or more goals in an away game. On that occasion it was 1-5 win at Buckingham United when Frankie Bircham (2), Jack Evans (2) and Reon Thomas scored the goals.

It was Harrison Woods who was the hero for Sarratt at The John Clements Memorial Ground as he netted a well deserved hat-trick alongside Chris White scoring the other.

For The Cod Army, who came into the game in good form having won three away games in a row at Caddington, Old Bradwell United and MK College, two goals from Sean McGonagle and Brodie Carrington wasn't enough to get anything from the game in front of a decent crowd of 105 people.

Cod's next game is away at New Bradwell St Peter next Saturday before a midweek home game against Eynesbury United. Woods was on the scoresheet for Sarratt again yesterday in their 1-1 draw at home to Leighton Town Development. They travel to Totternhoe next weekend.
