ENFIELD TOWN RES 1 AFC HORNCHURCH RES 4

A youthful Town side played some good football last night in the Capital League fixture played at Goldsdown Road. The scoreline of 1-4 was a little harsh on the Town side who most people watching felt they deserved more from the game. Vaughn Duguid scored Town's goal is the second half showing a brilliant bit of skill in the box to turn his marker and put a great shot on target which the Urchin's keeper was unable to hold to. This made the score 1-3 with AFC Hornchurch getting the fourth with a well taken strike late on in the game. Town hit the post in the last action of the game.

On this evidence Ram Ismail is putting together a promising young squad with in particular the aforementioned Duguid and Elliot King catching the eye for the cold end last night. King, playing in midfield, looked very skillful showing some good touches when on the ball.

The next scheduled Capital League game is for next Monday (11th October) at home to Colney Heath. The cold end recommends anyone to come and take a look.

Watch the highlights below including Town's goal and AFC's 1st, 3rd and 4th goal (i missed the 2nd one..sorry!!)....the date is also wrong on the video but it's too late to change it... Enjoy!!
