Colney Heath continued their fantastic form in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division with a 3-0 home win against Edgware Town thanks to goals from Sam Doolan, Chris Griffin and Lee Armitt. Full credit must go to the visitors who played very well and didn't just stick 10 men behind the ball - they left three players up on the halfway line at every corner kick the home side had.
Taking into account last season Colney Heath's winning run in league games now stretches back an incredible eleven games. They last dropped points in the 1-1 draw with Cockfosters back on Saturday 13th April which was an eventful game which had five red cards shown. Their last league defeat was on Saturday 9th March when they lost at Potton United 2-1.

Despite their amazing record they aren't top of the SSMFL Premier Division - Tring Athletic are six points ahead but have played three more games than Colney Heath - The Magpie's 1-2 victory on the opening day of the season is Tring's only dropped points so far. The top of the table could look a little different by the middle of next week with fifth placed Oxhey Jets hosting both Newport Pagnell Town and Colney Heath in their next two games.
