PLS DENOTES POSITION FINISHED LAST SEASON

AFC Whyteleafe, Rochester United and Lewisham Borough are the current top three of the Southern Counties East League Division One. All three are have only lost one game each so far.

The Leafe's only defeat came at home against Larkfield & New Hythe which ended 2-3. Rochester United were well beaten in their second league game of the season when Forest Hill Park won 1-4 with Lewisham Borough's only loss coming at Rochester United which ended 1-0.

TOP SCORERS FOR EACH OF THE TOP THREE (LEAGUE GAMES ONLY)
AARON WATSON - 11 GOALS IN 10 GAMES
FJORD ROGERS - 11 GOALS IN 10 GAMES
BRYAN ZEPO - 9 GOALS IN 10 GAMES

Rogers has previously played for Sevenoaks Town, Cray Wanderers, Whitstable Town and Margate. He played eleven games for The Gate in the 22/23 season scoring one goal in the 1-1 draw against Horsham. In the 21/22 season he played fifteen games for The Wands.

Aaron Watson played for Raynes Park Vale at the start of last season before moving to AFC Whyteleafe. He has also played for Sevenoaks Town, Glebe and the old Whyteleafe FC.

Zepo was with Merstham last season scoring 13 goals in 38 league and cup games. He previously played for Borough during the 21/22 season scoring 21 goals in 35 league and cup games.

At the bottom of the table it's been a tough season for Sporting Club Thamesmead who are without a win in nine league games of which only one has been a draw which was 2-2 at home to Larkfield & New Hythe.

More positive results might on the way for The Acre as they have recently recruited Fred Dillon as Manager who was previously with Kent County League side Chipstead FC - He is joined by Chris Steadman as his assistant along with James Porter, Anthony Mills and Pawel Kostka on the management team.

Dillon's first game was on Saturday which was a very narrow 2-1 defeat at Rochester United - they travel to Croydon this weekend.
