A POINT A PIECE FOR WESTON AND COLNEY HEATH RESERVES

It wasn't a classic 90 minutes of free flowing football last Saturday as Weston, who are playing at the Gosling Stadium for the 2019/20 season, shared the spoils with Colney Heath Reserves in the Hertfordshire Senior County League Premier Division.

Josh Cranwell was credited with Weston's goal although from the replay it's hard to tell if it was him or the Colney Heath defender got the final touch just on the edge of the six yard box.

In the second half the hosts hit the post but it was the visitors who equalised via Joe Ladbury who touched the ball home at the far past.

The crowd was around 10 to 20 people on a really hot September day in Welwyn.

As you'll see from the below pictures the stadium's main stand and terracing needs some much needed TLC, cleaning and repair with the seating area currently out of bounds for spectators.
