The 1-1 draw between Biggleswade FC Reserves and Crawley Green Reserves on Bank Holiday Monday wasn't an ideal result for either side in the race for the Bedfordshire County Football League Premier Division title but following the results yesterday both sides still are in with a chance of finishing top.
This game was a scrappy but hard fought one with one particular challenge and talking point from the first half shown below as well as match highlights. The referee gave two yellow cards to the Crawley Green players but there is an argument it could of been two reds??
FIRST HALF INCIDENT
Biggleswade scored early on from close range through Oscar Smith (goal not captured on camera) with Crawley Green equalising in the second half via a Temitayo Akerele header.
From the game I thought Biggleswade's Kian Coles was a stand out player. He is an attacking midfielder with a great touch who has already played for FC's first team on a number of occasions. He currently has 13 from 21 league and cup starts this season.
