In front of a crowd of 40 people on Wednesday 23rd August Clapton FC got their first point of their Thurlow Nunn First Division South season with a 2-2 draw at Park View FC.
Below are some highlights of the second half with both team's second goals scored. It was The Ton's first game after the departure of their manager Ross Weare - An announcement as to who will take over has yet to be made by the club.

Both clubs went out of The Isuzu FA Vase at the the first attempt over the weekend with The Tons going down 3-0 to Sheerwater on Saturday and Park View lost 6-2 at Essex Senior League side Woodford Town on Friday evening - The followed this up with heavy 1-5 defeat to St Margaretsbury in the League Challenge Cup on Wednesday. They host Harlow Town this weekend in the league.
The Tons are at home to Burnham Ramblers in the league this weekend.
