PIRTON RECREATION GROUND IS A LOVELY PLACE TO WATCH FOOTBALL
Lea Sports PSG are based at Pirton Recreation Ground which is a lovely village just outside of Hitchin in Hertfordshire. The PSG part stands for PIRTON and neighbouring villages SHILLINGTON and GRAVENHURST which are just inside the border in Bedfordshire. The club were formed in 1973 by a group of local junior school teachers hence the name LEA referring to LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY. The club have called Pirton their home since 1995. On Saturday they hosted the Reserve side of Pitstone and Ivinghoe and the result ended up a convincing 5-1 victory. Below are some pictures and highlights of the game.
