Going into Tuesday night's game at Hatfield United Knebworth knew they needed to pick up points to have a chance of finishing outside of the bottom three in the table. It wasn't to be as Hatfield United picked up a 3-1 win with their goalkeeper making some good saves to keep The K's out.

Knebworth then had a home games against Baldock Town Reserves (on Saturday) and Waltham Cross on Bank Holiday Monday. Table topper's Baldock picked up three points with a 1-3 win and on Monday Waltham Cross picked up a 0-1 win via a Nickal David Luzolo goal in the first half. The visitor's hit the woodwork twice in the second half but were unable to extend their lead.

Waltham Cross, with a young squad, have had a great season which is their first in senior football and I think they will do very well next campaign with the experience they have gained over the last few months.

With only one game to play (title challenger's Lemsford at home on Saturday afternoon) Knebworth now can't finish out of the bottom three and face possible relegation to Division Two for the 23/24 campaign.
