THE URCHINS LEAD THE WAY IN THE ISTHMIAN PREMIER DIVISION

Hornchurch who were the 2/1 pre-season favourites for the title are currently leading the way in The Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division but if Carshalton Athletic beat Canvey Island tonight they could go top on goal difference. The Urchins are at home to fifth placed Hastings United tomorrow evening along with Whitehawk hosting Haringey Borough who face their fourth trip to the South-Coast in as many away games having been to Hastings United, Dover Athletic and Folkstone Invicta in recent weeks. Tom Loizou's team are still awaiting to pick up their first win in the league but will be very encouraged by their 2-2 draw and subsequent win on penalty kicks in the Isuzu FA Trophy on Saturday. 

Billericay Town (two wins from seven league games) host Dulwich Hamlet who were expected to do well this season but so far have only two league wins which came at home against Canvey Island and Concord Rangers. So far on the road they have three defeats and one draw. They drew 2-2 at Hashtag United before losing at Horsham (2-3), Hornchurch (1-2) and Cheshunt (1-2).
