ZERO - Scunthorpe United and Yeovil Town have no wins away from home in The Vanarama National League. The Iron are without a league win on their travels since Sunday 26th December 2021 when they won 1-3 at Oldham Athletic in a League Two fixture. Since then they have drawn seven and lost seventeen of twenty-four games. For The Glovers it was a 0-1 win on the final day of last season at Altrincham - they have a better record than Scunthorpe United drawing seven and losing four of their eleven games.
ONE - Eastleigh who are pushing for a play-off place having only won one game on their travels which came back in August at York City. Their form at home is much better winning nine, drawing two and lost two of their thirteen games played. The Spitfire's win percentage at home is 69.23% whereas away from home it's 7.69%.
ELEVEN - The Racecourse Ground is a fortress - Wrexham have won all eleven league games along with three FA Cup games and one FA Trophy game. They have scored a total of fifty-five goals and let in just thirteen in those games. Their last defeat at home came in the play-off semi-final against Grimsby Town which famously ended 4-5. Bromley are next up who visit North Wales tonight for a league fixture.
NINE & THREE - Leamington are the draw specialists on their travels in The Vanarama North Division. The Brakes have lost just three of their twelve league games played drawing the other nine! The defeats came at Southport (1-0), Chorley (1-0) and Boston United (3-0). Their next two away games come at Farsley Celtic on Tuesday 17th January and Spennymoor Town on Saturday 21st January.
FIVE - Ebbsfleet United were unbeaten in their first sixteen league games winning fourteen and drawing two - It was looking like they were going to run away with the Vanarama South title. However they have had five defeats in their last eight league games which included two 1-4 and 0-4 losses against title and local rival's Dartford over the Christmas and New Year period.
THIRTEEN - Worksop Town are thirteen points clear at the top of The Pitching-In Northern Premier East Division and look set to return to the Step Three level they left in 2014. The Tigers had finished fourth in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and were beaten in the play-off semi-finals. At the end of the season they voluntarily dropped down to the North Counties East League Premier Division due to financial problems. Their only league defeat this season came on the opening day when they lost to 2-1 at Stockton Town.
THREE THOUSAND & SIXTY-SEVEN - Macclesfield FC are top of The Pitching-In Northern Premier West Division and their current average attendance for league games is 3,767. This figure beats League One side's Fleetwood Town, Accrington Stanley, Burton Albion and Forest Green Rovers. I don't think it'll be long before The Silkmen return to where Macclesfield Town were and the top eschelons of non-league football along with the possibility of a place in the football league.
SIX AND SIXTY-SIX - Bishop Auckland are currently six points clear at the top of the EBAC Northern League Division One and have scored sixty-six goals in their twenty-three league games played so far. The Two Blues last played at Step Four of the non-league ladder in 05/06 season when they finished bottom of The Northern Premier League Division One. The title race is clearly not over just yet though as second placed Newton Aycliffe have one game in hand, third placed Whitley Bay (eight points behind) have three games in hand and fourth placed Ashington (nine points behind) also have three games in hand.
THIRTY-SEVEN - Morrison Hashii has scored an incredible amount of thirty-seven goals so far this season in only twenty-two league and cup games for Combined Counties Division One side London Samurai Rovers. The Japanese born striker played college football in the USA and has also played for Al-Hilal United in the UAE and Albirex Niigata in the Singapore Premier League.
