Faversham Town made many headlines at the end of November when they appointed Sammy Moore as manager - Moore had exchanged the title race in The Pitching-In Isthmian Premier with Potters Bar Town for a relegation fight in the South-East Division. He replaced Simon Austin who had only been boss with the Kent club for five weeks and had replaced joint bosses John Embery and Jermaine Darlington who had been appointed in the summer.
Since Moore took over in charge of The Lillywhites they have drawn 1-1 at home to relegation rival's Corinthian before defeats at Ashford United (0-3) and 0-1 at Hythe Town.
They had been 1-2 up at Littlehampton Town on Saturday through two goals from former Herne Bay striker Zak Ansah only for the game to be abandoned in the second half due to extreme weather conditions.
Ansah, who joined the club in November, is one of a number of stand out signings the club have made since the start of the season.
The Kent club have just two wins from their nineteen games so far - With such a talented squad could they make the great escape and move out of the drop zone in the next few months?
Corinthian, Sittingbourne and Lancing sit above them in the table.
Sittingbourne have recently appointed former Walthamstow and Braintree Town boss Ryan Maxwell as new Manager and Director of Football - He replaces Nick Davis who departed The Brickies after a run of ten games without a win.
Just one point currently separates eleventh placed Burgess Hill Town and Lancing in seventeenth place.
Since Moore took over they have signed defender Emmanuel Dasho from Aveley, defender Fraser Shaw from Potters Bar Town, defender Jacques Kpohomouh from Potters Bar Town, midfielder Michael Ademiluyi from Cray Wanderers and winger Alex Addai from Sittingbourne.
Sittingbourne's new manager is called Ryan Maxwell.
