* Only Maidstone United have won their opening game of the season of all the recent champions since 2012/13. Whitehawk, Havant & Waterlooville, Billericay Town and Worting all lost with Wealdstone, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Dorking Wanderers all drawing.

* No title winning team has lost more than two of their opening ten games.

* Six of the eight teams (75/%) lost only one or none of their opening ten games.

* The average goals scored over the first ten games is 21.37 with the lowest being Hampton & Richmond on just 13 goals and the highest being Billericay Town on 24.

* The average goals conceded over the first ten games is 9.25 with the lowest being three teams on 8 goals and the highest being Worthing on 15.

* FTS (Fail To Score) - Only Whitehawk failed to score more than once in their 10 games played. They didn't find the back of the net on two occasions.

* CS (Clean Sheets) - Each title winning team had at least 2 clean sheets in their opening 10 games.

* No title winning team has drawn more than 4 of their opening 10 games.

* Barring Hampton & Richmond Borough on 4 wins - 87.5% of the title winning teams have won 5 or more of their opening ten games.

* Hampton & Richmond Borough of 15/16 are the only team with a negative goal difference. They lost 0-4 at home to Lewes in their 8th game of the season - The Rooks finished second from bottom of the division and that was one of only two away wins they had all season - the other was 1-0 win at Brentwood Town, who were also relegated, in March.

* Wealdstone, Maidstone United and Havant & Waterlooville have all been promoted to The Vanarama National Division since winning the Isthmian League with Maidstone and H&W returning back down again - Maidstone United won the Vanarama South title this season so will return possibly along with Dorking Wanderers who still have their play-off final.

* Whitehawk and Hampton & Richmond Borough went close to promotion - The Hawks lost to Boreham Wood in the 14/15 play-off final and then lost out to Ebbsfleet United in the 15/16 play-off semi-final. In 16/17 Hampton qualified for the play-offs as Poole Town (5th) and Hungerford Town (6th) were excluded but they lost to Ebbsfleet Untied at the semi-final stage. In the 17/18 season they got to the play-off final and drew 1-1 with Braintree Town only to lose 4-3 on penalties.

* The highest place in The National League achieved was Maidstone is 16/17 who finished 14th just below Wrexham.

* So the omens are good for Worthing in the 22/23 season as only one title winning side in the last eight seasons hasn't made the play-offs at step two at least once  - Billericay Town were relegated this season after finishing bottom of the table. Only The Blues and Whitehawk will not play at Step Two or higher for the 22/23 campaign.
