It's been a difficult start to the 21/22 season for Biggleswade United who were moved from the Spartan South Midlands League Premier to the UHLSport United Counties League Premier Division South over the summer which caused them to lose many of their squad and having to re-build with a completely new team with many young players starting in games. Hopefully it's only a matter of time before Cristian Colás team get a much needed victory. Their results so far are:
Tue 3rd Aug - GODMANCHESTER ROVERS L 1-7. Att - 35
Sat 7th Aug - SAFFRON WALDEN TOWN (FA Cup) L 0-7. Att - 95
Tue 10th Aug - Peterborough NS L 2-9. Att - 57
Sat 14th Aug - GNG Oadby Town L 0-8. Att - 20
Tue 24th Aug - Newport Pagnell Town L 3-7. Att - 159
Sat 28th Aug - COVENTRY SPHINX L 0-10. Att - 72
Tue 31st Aug - WELLINGBOROUGH TOWN L 1-3. Att - 66

Sat 25th Sep - Cogenhoe United
Sat 2nd Oct - COVENTRY UNITED
Sat 9th Oct - Hinckley Leicester Road
Tues 12th Oct - Rothwell Corinthians
United's average crowd at Second Meadow including cup games is currently 67 people. It would be great to see a few more fans in their forthcoming game against Coventry United - Could this game beat the 95 who saw their FA Cup game against Saffron Walden Town? If you live in Biggleswade why not give the club some much needed support!
