The race for promotion from the Spartan South Midlands League Division One looks set to be an exciting one this season as with the non-league re-organisation for 2020/21 guaranteeing the top four automatically go up.
Sixth placed Stotfold have won their last eight league games in row and won 5-3 against Shefford Town and Campton yesterday afternoon. A crowd of 644 saw the opening of their NEW ROKER PARK stadium - they host London Lions (8th) this Tuesday, MK Robins next Saturday and Buckingham Athletic (13th) next Tuesday so there is plenty of opportunity to see the new ground in the next few weeks.
The 644 figure was a slight increase on The Eagle's last league game at Roker Park which saw Enfield Borough beaten 4-1 on Saturday 11th January in front of 64 people!
