There are many minutes of football to play but WEALDSTONE are in prime position for a return to non-league's top division for the first time since 1987/88. On Saturday a crowd of 1,356 was at Grosvenor Vale to see The Stones beat Billericay Town 3-0 with goals from Moses Emmanuel and Ross Lafayette (2). Slough Town won 1-2 at Welling United and Havant drew 0-0 at home to Dulwich Hamlet. Weymouth drew 2-2 at home to Eastbourne Borough.
Slough Town and Havant & Waterlooville are due to play each other twice within the next couple of weeks so it's a real pivotal period in the race for the title.
