WATFORD LEGEND NOEL-WILLIAMS JOINS THE COD ARMY
Spartan South Midlands League Division One side Codicote have appointed former Watford, Stoke City, Burnley, Brighton & HA, Real Murcia, Elche, Millwall, Yeovil Town, Austin Aztex and DFW Tornados professional Gifton Noel-Williams to their coaching staff who will work alongside last season's first team coach James Tizzard. The new man in charge (aged 37) is UEFA licenced and chas coached in both the USA and UK. The duo with work closely with Codicote Youth in the development of coaches and players at the club and also introduce a new under 18 Southern Floodlit League side.
The Cod Army have started their preparation for the new season very early with one open training session held already at The Jon Clement Memorial Ground with the next scheduled for Tuesday 13th June.
Noel-Williams played under Graham Taylor and Kenny Jacket whilst with Watford as well as Tony Pulis at Stoke City so he will have a good deal of knowledge to pass onto to his team in the forthcoming season.
