They went down 8-0 with the Man of The Match reported to be the Ferring goalkeeper who kept the score down from double figures with some tremendous saves.

The club were formed back in 1951 and have played in the Worthing and District League, Sussex County League (SCL - now known as the Southern Combination League) and West Sussex League. Since rejoining the SCL they have finished in 12th, 7th, 7th, 2nd, 10th and 11th at Step Seven of the non-league pyramid.
The club also run a reserve side who play in the Brighton, Worthing District Football League - they have a record of played 13, won 0, drawn 1 and lost 12 in all league and cup games this year - their only point came on Saturday 10th September when they drew 2-2 with Worting Dynamos coming back from 2-0 down with Ahmed Souadi and Muhammed Robbani the hero goal scorers! They entertain second placed Sompting FC in the league this coming Saturday at The Glebelands.
Ferring FC have neighbouring football clubs in Ryman Premier Division Worthing FC to the East and SCL Division One East Preston to the West of their current home - The club play at The Glebelands Recreation Ground and have averaged a crowd of just 16 in their home games - the top attendance so far this campaign came on Saturday 10th December when they entertained title chasing Sidlesham in front of 35 people.
