BASEMENT BATTLE IN THE SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS DIVISION ONE TODAY

SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE
DIVISION ONE - CURRENT TABLE
18th to 21st only
POS TEAM P GD PTS FORM
18 BEDFORD 18 -35 12 LLLLLL
19 ARLESEY TOWN RESERVES 20 -44 10 LWLLLL
20 HATFIELD TOWN  17 -36 7 LLLLLL
21 BRIMSDOWN 18 -48 5 LLLLLD
Eight points separate eighteenth placed Bedford and Ampthill Town in seventeenth place in the Spartan South Midlands League Division One which shows the current bottom four in the division are very much adrift of the the other clubs in the table which makes the games today very interesting.

Brimsdown travel to Bedford and Hatfield Town make the trip to Arlesey Town Reserves in a bottom four shown-down. Only ATFC have a victory in the last six games played for every team and that ironically came against Bedford!

Brimsdown only picked up their fifth point of the season in their last game played against Ampthill Town in a 3-3 draw - Usama Hamdan bagged a hat-trick. The other four points came in a 5-1 home win over Bedford and a 2-2 draw at home to Southall.

Hatfield Town have two wins in total in the league at home to both Brimsdown and Bedford.

ATFC have three wins at home to Hadley Wood & Wingate, Codicote and Bedford.

Bedford have beaten Codicote, Hatfield Town, Buckingham Athletic and Hadley Wood & Wingate in their four league wins.

THE COLD END WISHES GOOD LUCK TO ALL FOUR TEAMS TODAY
