LET'S HERE IT FOR THE FC BROXBOURNE BOROUGH BOYS

Unfortunately for FC Broxbourne Borough FC's under 18's team their fantastic 1-0 victory over Chester FC at Goffs Lane in the FA Youth Cup Third Round was marred by events off the field and the actions of a section of spectators at the ground which is covered in this Chester Chronicle article.

The Cold End will concentrate on the fantastic achievement of the team, the coaching staff and everyone at the club - Jack Hockney was the hero for the home side scoring in the 115th minute to send his team through to the Fourth Round. They had had some some luck being drawn at home three times out of five and with two "byes" as well.

They have been drawn at home to Yeovil Town in the next round where they are joined by Preston North End, Everton and the winners of the Manchester United v Southampton & Arsenal v Blackburn Rovers third round games yet to be played amongst others.
