The Ryman League have announced that Thursday's play-off semi-final between Hendon and Enfield Town has been postponed until the current situation has been resolved and there is a clear indication as to the
continued involvement of Enfield Town FC in the Play-Off matches. The Margate v Dulwich Hamlet game will go ahead as scheduled.
To compound the current situation the Middlesex Football Association has today announced the Charity Cup Final which was scheduled for Monday 4th May has been postponed until the beginning of the 2015/16 season They also await the Football Association's ruling as Aryan Tajbakhsh played in the Quarter-Final victory over Ashford Town (Middx).
There were some rumours floating about social media earlier on today which @ETFCOfficial moved to quickly confirm the situation still remains unchanged.
Keep following them to find out when and if the play-off game against Hendon will be played.

RYMAN LEAGUE PLAY-OFF MATCHES
Well Division One's South and North are sorted with the Premier Division situation well written about elsewhere including TheColdEnd as I am currently a very frustrated, perplexed and befuddled Enfield Town fan- it's complex!! Whatever the decision maybe it will have ramifications across all of football - it's summed up very well by twohundredpercent.net here.
What I will say is I feel for the players and supporters of not just my own team but the other clubs involved - some may not be available if the games are delayed from Thursday evening and then the final next Monday.
Harlow Town, who in any other season, would of walked away with the title with their 103 point haul now have to concentrate on their play-off game against fifth placed Thurrock who finished 19 points below them in the table. Brentwood Town travel to AFC Sudbury in the other game.
Three out of the four clubs in the Division One (South) play offs have scored over 100 goals in their 46 game regular season so could there be a few goals scored on Tuesday evening. Folkestone Invicta and Mertsham have scored 107 each with Faverham Town scoring 111.
Good luck to all teams involved. By this time next week two of the eight clubs in the North and South play-offs will be looking forward to Premier Division football for the 2015/16 season.

SAM FRANKLIN-JONES IS HAT-TRICK HERO FOR BURY RANGERS
![]() |
Bury Rangers celebrate with the Centenary Trophy with hat trick hero Sam Franklin-Jones in the middle with his Man of the Match award. |
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
inc all the goals scored and trophy presentation
What was good to see that both sides got on with the game in good spirits with the referee and his assistants who were brilliant making all the right decisions at the right time.
Both Bury Rangers and Bengeo Trinity have some league games left to play. Rangers home games against FC Cornerstone (Saturday 2nd May) and Watton-At-Stone (Saturday 9th May).
Trinity have a very busy few weeks with the following fixtures where there could still be crowned title winners. Current table toppers Oracle Components could get to a points total of 38 if they win their last two games - one of which is against Bengeo. If Trinity win all their games they would get to a points total of 40 so it looks like the crunch game is on Saturday 2nd May. Oracle Components face Inter Hoddesdon Town at home this afternoon.
Tuesday 28th April - Westmill
Thursday 30th April - INTER HODDESDON TOWN
Saturday 2nd May - Oracle Components
Tuesday 5th May - Watton-At-Stone
Thuesday 7th May - Sumners
Saturday 9th May - Inter Hoddesdon Town

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
The dramatic news has broken that Enfield Town Football Club have been found guilty by The Football Association of playing midfielder Aryan Tajbaksh whilst ineligible. Club officials, including Chairman Paul Reed, attended Wembley Stadium and vigorously defended the club but despite the FA recognising several issues in favour of Enfield Town (detailed below) the decision of their panel was to find the club and player guilty.
There has been no penalty or costs awarded against the club but the ramifications could have massive implications on the chances of the team reaching the play-offs. Under Ryman League rules there could be a chance that the Town will be deducted three points for a game which Town won when Tajbaksh should of been suspended - this has yet to have been confirmed?
The whole story is detailed above in the an extract from tomorrow afternoon's programme. There has been a huge amount of support for the club and it's position across social media this morning including fans of our great rival's Wingate and Finchley and Wealdstone.
ALL ENFIELD TOWN FANS CAN DO IS TURN UP IN NUMBERS AT DONKEY LANE TOMORROW AND CHEER BRADLEY QUINTON'S BLUE AND WHITE ARMY ON TO VICTORY AS IF THE TOWN LOSE WE COULD END UP FINISHING OUTSIDE OF THE TOP FIVE....THEN HOPE COMMON SENSE PREVAILS.

TITLE DECIDER IN THE EVO STIK SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION
POS | TEAM | P | GD | PTS | PP |
1 | POOLE TOWN | 43 | +50 | 91 | 94 |
2 | CORBY TOWN | 43 | +38 | 91 | 94 |
I wrote earlier about a winner takes all game between Saffron Walden Town and Great Yarmouth Town on Saturday - There are many games such as this over the coming weekend with possibly the best coming in Dorset. After forty-three games played of a forty-four game season Poole Town and Corby Town find themselves on 91 points each and who plays each other this weekend? You just couldn't make it up could you?
The Steelmen visit The Dolphins in a real title decider which is likely to pack out Poole Town's 2,000 capacity Tatnam ground. With the home side's goal difference on +50 and Corby's at +38 a home draw would be enough to see Step Two football for the 2015/16 campaign.
Back on Saturday 20th December 2014 Corby Town beat Poole Town 1-0 at Steel Park in front of 602 people. How much would they want the same result on Saturday??
WHITWELL LIFT THE DIVISION TWO CUP
LATE SUNDAY EVENING SUNSHINE - CUP FINAL ACTION AT TOP FIELD |
United are currently top of Division Two winning 15 drawing 1 and losing 4 of their 20 games in their first season with the league. As it stands though Whitwell have won 11 of their 12 games so if they continue their winning form they will be on a total well above St Ippolyts current 46 points.
Whitwell get a chance to win another cup on Sunday 3rd May when they face Premier Division 'The Boot Baldock' in the Carl Cozens Challenge Cup Final.

4 | GREAT YARMOUTH TOWN | 35 | +34 | 75 | 78 |
If there was a match which defined the business end of the season look no further than Saffron Walden Town's clash with Great Yarmouth Town on Saturday afternoon. It's 3rd v 4th in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One with only the top three going up to the Premier Division. The home side have a points total of 77 with The Bloaters on 75 so technically it's not a "winner takes all" match as the headline suggests as all the home side have to do is not lose to gain promotion.
Will it be a return of Premier Division football for the Norfolk side? They were relegated in 2012 after finishing bottom of the table. Or will it be a return to the top division for The Bloods which they left in 1984 to join the Isthmian League? The Essex side re-joined the Eastern Counties League in 2004/05 after being dormant for the 2003/04 season. They have been very close to promotion over the past few seasons finishing 6th, 6th and 5th.

Since joining the Eastern Counties Premier Division in 2008 they have finished in 17th, 20th, 20th, 19th, 18th and 19th positions being reprieved from relegation several times.

THE CITIZENS WIN THE DIVISION ONE TITLE
Welwyn Garden City Football Club sealed the Spartan South Midlands League Division One title in some style today thanks to a 5-0 win over Chesham United Reserves in front of a decent crowd of 128 people. Jason Caswell scored four of the goals with Joel Norris scoring the other. The team spirit Adam Fisher and his coaching staff have built up is clear to see in the picture and Captain Liam Kenna's tweet sums up what it means too! Well done to all involved at the club.
The Citzens get the chance to win a league and cup double when they face Crawley Green in the Division One Cup Final at Langford's Forde Park on Tuesday 28th April.
DIVISION ONE (NORTH) TITLE GOES RIGHT TO THE WIRE
Needham Market had one hand on the Ryman Division One (North) title when they went in at half-time 2-0 up against Harlow Town this afternoon thanks to two goals from Sam Newson (11 and 21). A crowd of 972 at Bloomfields saw The Hawks come back with goals from Alex Read (61) and Craig Pope (88). There was some apparent controversy when Leon Antoine 'scored' a goal with the scoreline at 2-1 with the Assistant Referee flagging for offside - a decision which was hotly contested.
It now all goes down to next weekend and the final game of the season with Harlow Town entertaining Thamesmead Town and Needham Market travelling to Chatham Town.
A win for Needham would give them the title. Should they lose or draw and Harlow win then the league title would be won at Barrows Farm.
The play offs will be contested by either one of the title challengers, AFC Sudbury, Brentwood Town and Thurrock. Again the phrase 'Mathematically possible' is applicable to Dereham Town's chances in sixth place but they would have to overcome a +28 goal difference and hope Thurrock lose - Dereham can still be very pleased at their showing in their first season in the division since promotion from the Eastern Counties League at the end of last season.

CHAMPIONS - CONGRATULATIONS TO KINGS LANGLEY
Kings Langley continued their good form this afternoon by beating St Margaretsbury 5-0 at home following their 2-0 victory, also at home, against Wembley on Tuesday evening which sealed them the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division title. It's now two promotions in as many seasons for the Hertfordshire side as they were runner's up in Division One last season. Just fourteen seasons ago Gaywood Park was hosting Hertfordshire Senior County League games - for the 2015/16 season it's likely Kings Langley will be placed in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One (Central). They have scored an incredible 121 goals in their 40 league games played so far with just one more point needed in their finals two games in order to reach 100 points.
Congratulations to all involved.
SOME BUSINESS AT THE BUSINESS END OF THE SEASON
RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION RESULTS
The point Maidstone United won in their draw in front of an all ticket 3,000 crowd at Champion Hill and Hendon only drawing at Grays Athletic has 'mathematically' confirmed The Stones as Ryman Premier Division Title Winners for 2015. For Hendon to win the league now they would have win both of their reamining games by a big margin (to turn around the +19 goal difference the Kent side have on them) and also hope The Stones lose by a silly amount at home to East Thurrock United next Saturday. If Hendon win 19-0 versus AFC Hornchurch on Monday evening then fans at The Gallagher Stadium may start to worry?
Hendon are guaranteed runner's up position along with Margate in third who lost 0-3 at home to VCD Athletic. In the race for fourth and fifth it's now four teams going for two places with Dulwich Hamlet, Enfield Town, Metropolitan Police and Grays Athletic all with a chance going into the final day of the season. Grays can only finish fifth with the other three teams all capable of finishing in either fourth or fifth. A point for Dulwich would guarantee them play-off football with a win for Enfield Town giving them a place in the top five. Both Grays Athletic and Metropolitan Police will be relying on either Hamlet or The Towners losing and them getting a positive result. There are numerous complex permutations to give supporter's headaches - For The Cold End, as an Enfield Town fan the picture is clear, win at home to Witham Town and we qualify for the play-offs. Which, of course, is easier said than done!
Especially as Witham Town and AFC Hornchurch were relegated following their results today - The pressure is off for Witham and they can just play football next Saturday at Donkey Lane.
One from Peacehaven and Telscombe, Lewes, VCD Athletic, Canvey Island, Harrow Borough or Tonbridge Angels will finish in the last relegation place. P&T need to win to have a chance of saying up and hope one of the teams above them lose - Lewes could draw and go down on goal difference if P&T win!
The 3,000 crowd at Dulwich Hamlet v Maidstone United beat Crawley Town (League One), Accrington Stanley + Morecambe + Newport County (League Two) and all the crowds across all three Vanarama Conference divisions - even the 2,938 at Bromley who won 3-0 against Weston-Super-Mare to win the title.

PROMOTION - CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CITIZENS!!!
Welwyn Garden City's 0-3 win at Baldock Town on Wednesday night secured the Hertfordshire side a place in the top two of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One and thus promotion to the Premier Division for the 2015/16 season. A win in tomorrow afternoon's home game with Chesham United Reserves will make The Citizens champions. It's been five long seasons outside of Step Five on the non-league ladder as they were relegated from the Premier Division in 2010. The Cold End sends congratulations to all involved at the club on their achievement.

NO POSTS FROM THE COLD END THIS WEEK
The Cold End won't be updated until next weekend - enjoy your football wherever you go and thank you for your continued support for the website which remains totally independent, not for profit and for the love of the beautiful game. Feel free to have a look at the match list to the right hand side which details all the games featured, of which highlights are shown on most of them.
I hope to be writing about an Enfield Town victory at East Thurrock United next Saturday in the race for the Ryman Premier Division play-offs.
There is a midweek game at Donkey Lane as Enfield Town take on Cockfosters in a local derby semi-final of the Middlesex Chairty Cup with Help for Heroes. The other semi-final takes place on the same day as Harrow Borough entertain Uxbridge. Fosters lost 0-2 at home to AFC Dunstable in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division on Saturday. Kick off on Tuesday evening is 7.45pm with Bradley Quinton looking to field a strong side to hopefully take the Town through to the final.
I hope to be writing about an Enfield Town victory at East Thurrock United next Saturday in the race for the Ryman Premier Division play-offs.
COME ON YOU TOWNERS!

SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE - KINGS LANGLEY ON THE BRINK
Premier Division Current Table
Top Three Only
TEAM | P | GD | PTS | PP |
KINGS LANGLEY | 38 | +80 | 93 | 105 |
LONDON COLNEY | 37 | +44 | 80 | 95 |
AFC DUNSTABLE | 38 | +37 | 78 | 90 |
A win for Kings Langley in their home game versus Wembley on Tuesday will seal them the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division title. As it stands they need just one more victory and that is dependant on London Colney winning all their remaining games one of which comes against them at Cotslandwick on Tuesday 21st April. Colney make the short journey to Colney Heath for a local derby on Tuesday evening.
Division One
Top Six Only
TEAM | P | GD | PTS | PP |
WELWYN GARDEN CITY | 36 | +73 | 85 | 97 |

RISBOROUGH RANGERS | 35 | +27 | 66 | 81 |
CODICOTE | 36 | +35 | 64 | 76 |
In Division One two more wins for The Citizens will crown them champions - this is depending on other results. Should either Bedford, FC Broxbourne Borough or Hatfield Town drop points it will go down to Adam Fisher's side needing one more win. They have lost three of their last six games against FC Broxbourne Borough, Hatfield Town and Southall but they have won the other three against London Lions. Harpenden Town and crucially against 0-1 away at Bedford.
Welwyn's final games come at Baldock Town (this Wednesday), at home to Chesham United Res (next Saturday), at home to Edgware Town (Saturday 25th April) and away at Bush Hill Rangers on Thursday 30th April.

SUNDAY 12th APRIL RESULT
KINGSTONIAN 2 EAST THURROCK UNITED 2
RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
TOP FOURTEEN
On Grand National weekend there were some fallers in the race for the play-off places and in the title race. Wingate and Finchley, Bognor Regis Town and Leatherhead can no longer reach fifth place with Leiston now only able to get to 72 points (Enfield Town's current total) so they now rely on goal difference and Town losing both their final games in order to get to fifth place along with a mathematical conundrum and unique combination of results from the other sides involved.
In the race for the title Maidstone United now only really need one more win which would put them on 97 points being the total amount of points Hendon can achieve should they win all their remaining games. The Stones have a +19 goal difference advantage. A defeat or draw for Hendon next Saturday at Grays Athletic and a win or draw for Maidstone United at Dulwich Hamlet would crown the Kent side Championship. Hendon had turned around going down 0-1 at home to Hamlet yesterday and were winning 2-1 going into the final minutes of the game only for Hamlet to equalise in the 89th minute - they had been down to 10 men from the 38th minute when James Fisher was red-carded.
Margate can no longer finish top following their 1-0 defeat at Leatherhead. They have (at least) secured third spot but could still finish as runner's up.
Sunday afternoon saw East Thurrock United bow out of the play-off race with a 2-2 draw at Kingstonian. United had lead 1-2 going into the last 10 minutes but a Alan Inns goal in the 82nd minute made it 2-2.
The following sides can still finish in fourth place -
DULWICH HAMLET
ENFIELD TOWN
GRAYS ATHELTIC
METROPOLITAN POLICE
KINGSTONIAN (on GD)
As well as the above the following sides can still finish in fifth place -
LEISTON (on GD)
BILLERICAY TOWN
RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION TABLE
BOTTOM 10
At the foot of the table it's now looking very bleak for both Witham Town and AFC Hornchurch following their defeats at Tonbridge Angels and Enfield Town. To have any chance of staying up they need to win all of their remaining games and hope that both Harrow Borough and VCD Athletic lose their games. VCD's victory over Wingate lifted them out of the bottom four with their place being taken by Peacehaven and Telscombe who lost their sixth game in a row without scoring! Hampton's 0-4 victory over Canvey Island has more or less confirmed their Premier Division place - for them to go down all the sides beneath them would have to show a remarkable turn in form.
A defeat or draw for either Witham Town (at home to Met Police) or AFC Hornchurch (at home to Peacehaven and Telscombe) next Saturday will confirm relegation and Division One (North) football for the 2015/16 season.

TITLE DECIDER AT BLOOMFIELDS
RYMAN DIVISION ONE NORTH
CURRENT TABLE - TOP TWO ONLY
All Ryman Division One (North) roads lead to Bloomfields, the home of Needham Market, next Saturday as the top two teams face off in a real title decider which will attract a massive crowd - A home win will see The Marketmen crowned champions whereas an away victory will see Harlow in first place going into their home game with Thamesmead Town on the final day of the season. Needham travel to Chatham Town on the final day of the season.
418 people watched the game at Barrows Farm on Saturday 8th November which Harlow won 2-1 via goals from Shane Stamp and Alex Read. How The Hawks would love another result like that?
Read, who had missed the last seven games through injury prior The Hawks 3-1 win over Maldon and Tiptree, made an appearance from the subsitutes bench in the last ten minutes on Saturday. The striker has 30 goals to his name so far this season could make a start in the big game next weekend.
