WHITWELL LIFT THE DIVISION TWO CUP

LATE SUNDAY EVENING SUNSHINE - CUP FINAL ACTION AT TOP FIELD
Whitwell were by far the better side in the Hitchin Sunday League Division Two Cup Final at Top Field on Sunday evening as they won 4-0 against St Ippolyts United in front of a crowd of around 100 people. Whitwell's fourth goal was a classy left foot volley from outside of the box after some intricate close control/keepy up skill which would of looked at home in the Premier League - Have a look at the video from 4m 40secs to see why!.

United are currently top of Division Two winning 15 drawing 1 and losing 4 of their 20 games in their first season with the league. As it stands though Whitwell have won 11 of their 12 games so if they continue their winning form they will be on a total well above St Ippolyts current 46 points.

Whitwell get a chance to win another cup on Sunday 3rd May when they face Premier Division 'The Boot Baldock' in the Carl Cozens Challenge Cup Final.
