HALSEY KICKS OFF WITH A HERTFORD WIN

New Hertford Town manager Paul Halsey kicked off his tenure as boss at Hertingfordbury Park with a win at local rival's Hoddesdon Town on Tuesday night. The ex Ware boss who was most recently been Assistant Manager at Ryman Premier Billericay Town saw Tommy Wade score the all important goal for Hertford in the first half in which his side also hit the bar twice. The second half (which due to camera problems the cold end didn't capture) was largely uneventful but Hertford did just about enough to hold on to their win to the delight of their travelling fans who made the short journey to Lowfield.

Some selected highlights from the first half including the goal are below
