There's no doubt the game of the day next Saturday takes place at Barrows Farm where in-form Harlow Town welcome table-topper's Leiston. If the Hawks (currently in fourth place) can win this game and their game in hand they could play themselves back into the title race. Of the other sides there is only bottom of the table Ware and third from bottom Great Wakering Rovers that have a last six games playing record that is worse than currently third placed Needham Market. Grays Athletic have only scored six times in their last six games and they will clearly be gutted that after going 1-0 up in their local derby it ended up in a 2-1 defeat against Tilbury yesterday (highlights here courtesy of YOUR THURROCK). The Dockers along with Brentwood Town look the best placed sides to push into the play-off zone. AFC Sudbury, if they can improve their form, will also look to move up the table.

The cold end thinks that Potters Bar Town have lost too many games (10) so far to qualify for the play-offs. As this website has stated in the past since the formation of the new Ryman Division One (North) no side has qualified for the play-offs losing more than 11 games. This would mean The Scholars can only afford to lose one more game in their remaining 15 games. Every season is different so I'm here to be proved incorrect.

Twelth placed Redbridge (lost 8 of their 24 games) could make a push towards the play-offs but they need to win their three games in hand (as well as their other games) which would put them on similar records as AFC Sudbury and Brentwood Town

There are some games this midweek when Waltham Abbey welcome Soham Town Rangers to Capershotts and Ware face Great Wakering Rovers in a relegation six pointer at Wodson Park on Tuesday night. Grays Athletic will look to put Saturday's disappointment behind them when they welcome Waltham Forest on Wednesday night.
