Most Enfield Town supporters will have heard the news that Stuart Blackburne has joined Blue Square South newcomers Boreham Wood. I'm sure the cold end will not be the only Town fan to wish Stuart the very best of luck in playing at a higher level for the new season.
Lets hope Stuart hits the back of the net and makes some headlines over at Meadow Park - in particularly for old Enfield FC fan's when our old rivals Woking visit on August Bank Holiday.
Stuart joins last season's Ryman North top goal-scorer at Step 2 of the Non-League ladder - Sam Higgins joined Chelmsford City earlier in the summer from East Thurrock United. Higgins has already scored for his new club in their friendly games versus Heybridge Swifts and Maldon & Tiptree.
