LOCAL PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY PREVIEW

The pre-season campaign kicked off last weekend with a few sides in action with more teams starting their build to the season proper over the coming few days. There are some local matches involving five rival Ryman North clubs as follows:

Waltham Forest travel to play Spartan South Midlands Premier Division side Kentish Town in match which will take place on Chase Lodge Playing Fields. Kentish Town played last weekend beating SSML Division One side Sport London E Benfica 2-0. Langford will be hoping for a larger crowd than usual at Forde Park as a Luton Town XI visit with Royston Town travelling to face Essex Senior League Barkingside at the Elmbridge Sport's club. Heybridge Swifts travel to ECL Wivenhoe Town, Leyton face Ryman Premier side Aveley at Bacon's college in Rotherhithe, South London and Ware travel to face a Brentford XI at The Bee's training ground in Jersey Road, Osterley (note - 1pm KO). Leyton played last weekend and won 4-1 against Greenwich Borough - goals from Touran, Vito, Sol Patterson and Jamal Allen (16 years old) securing the victory.

AFC Sudbury start their pre-season campaign with a local trip to ECL side Haverhill Rovers tonight.
