TANNERS IN THE TROPHY AND A FAMILIAR TRIP IN THE FA CUP

The magic of the FA Cup was sprinkled on North London today as the draw for the early rounds was made. Enfield Town face a trip to Ryman North rivals Waltham Forest in Preliminary round with the winners facing another away trip to either Zamaretto Midlands Aylesbury FC or Arlesley Town in the First Qualifying Round

In the Trophy we face an interesting trip to Ryman South side Leatherhead in the Preliminary round with the winners facing a home tie against Eastbourne Town or Walton Casuals in the 1st QR. The Tanners finished 5th in Division One (South) last season qualifying for the play-offs where they lost out on penalties to Folkestone Invicta in the Semi-Final. In the Trophy last season they beat Thamesmead Town in a replay before losing away 3-0 at Ramsgate.

Our game versus the Stags is due to take place on Saturday 28th August with the 1st QR due on the 11th September. The Trophy kicks off on Saturday 2nd October.
