Some loyal people watch the fixture between Coopers and Mallard Old Boys in the Comet Sunday League KLM Cup on the 1st November in a torrential downpour of rain With the antics of convicted criminal Marlon King spread over the newspapers during the past week bringing more bad press to our great game the cold end thought it be good to remind people how fantastic the game of football can be. Sometimes it can be joyous, sometimes annoying, Sometimes heartbreaking and sometimes brilliant. Instead of the negative press the good things about our game should be celebrated.
The tireless and wonderful work of all the voluntary workers and helpers that help run the vast amount of non-league clubs on a Saturday afternoon.The Referees and Assistant Referees whom without we'd have no games to watch and play in.
The loyal fans and supporters of every club who travel long distances just to see their team play or the friends & family who turn up on a Sunday morning to watch their nearest and dearest run around the park.
Others sheltered under the nearby trees to watch the Hertfordshire Sunday Cup fixture between MH Goldsmith and AC Daniels on the 1st November.
