On the 8th February 1994 Enfield FC played Edgware Town at the White Lion Ground in the Middlesex Senior Cup Round 2. 200 people witnessed an amazing game which was won by the home side 5-4 after extra time. Enfield fans will remember George Borg starting this game on what was not the best of playing surfaces at
The scorer of a hat-trick for Edgware that night was Steve Newing. Had it not been for Steve White in the E's goal it could of been a cricket score for Edgware.

McGleish is still playing for Leyton Orient in league one this season making 5 appearances (1 sub) and scoring 3 goals to date.
