The London Cheetahs currently lead the way in the ACERBIS Herts Senior County Premier Division. They were runner's up in the Middlesex County League Division One (North & West) last season so have made the transition from Step Eight to Seven with ease.
They were called Boston Manor prior to the 23/24 season and a rebranding of the club.
From their nine league games played so far they have won seven, drawn one and lost one. The only defeat coming against Chipperfield Corinthians who are just behind them in the table. The draw was a 2-2 against Leverstock Green Development in their second game of the games. They have also had two penalty kick wins in cup competitions beating Cuffley in The Norman Appleby Trophy First Round and Royston Town Reserves in The Herts FA Senior Centenary Trophy.
They have a healthy total of 35 goals scored in 11 league and cup games with Ismail Mansour on 6 goals closely followed by Mehdi Mayah (a former London Tigers player), Saul Cruz and Eiman Kaabi on 5 each.
Last season's third placed team Chipperfield Corinthians closely follow them with seven wins and two defeats in nine league games played. They have also been hitting the back of the next frequently with 34 goals scored in those games. They knocked out Division One side Hatfield United in The Norman Appleby Trophy First Round beating them 3-2 and won on penalties in the HSCT at Cuffley after a 1-1 draw in normal time. Aidan Leslie has 10 goals and Lewis Nicholas has 8 goals. Their two defeats have come at third placed Everett Rovers (3-1) and at home to currently fourth placed Allenburys Sports (4-5) on the opening day of the season.
All of Everett Rovers seven league games so far have come at home of which six they have one - their only defeat being 3-4 versus OIR FC. Harry Bennett has netted 13 goals in those seven league games.
Allenburys Sports and Cuffley (7th) are the only sides left without a defeat.
Apsley Argyle, who were promoted from Division One in 2023 and finished 16th last season have lost all seven of their games played so far. Buntingford Town are just above them and also have no wins but have drawn one of their eight league games played.
In The Norman Appleby Trophy there could be a repeat of the 23/24 final in the Second Round if Division One Westmill beat Barnet Development in the one remaining first round game to be played this Saturday. Westmill won a thrilling final 3-2 last season in front of 315 people at Clarence Park - Everett Rovers were 0-2 up but three goals (two from Charlie Rome and one from Josh Holmes) gained Westmill a historic win.
They are currently top of Division One with Louie Debnam scored 12 goals in just 6 games.
