THE PITCHING IN ISTHMIAN PREMIER DIVISION WEEKEND PREVIEW

Saturday 18th November
Canvey Island v Cheshunt
Dulwich Hamlet v Folkestone Invicta
Enfield Town v Hastings United
Haringey Borough v Kingstonian
Hornchurch v Potters Bar Town
Wingate & Finchley v Margate

It's a reduced fixture list in The Pitching In Isthmian Premier this weekend with Billericay Town, Bognor Regis Town, Horsham, Cray Wanderers, Whitehawk and Lewes all in Isuzu FA Trophy action.

League leader's Hornchurch entertain Potters Bar Town at Bridge Avenue. Despite their lowly league position The Scholars are unbeaten in seven league games with two wins and three defeats on their travels in league games.

The Urchins are still unbeaten in their fourteen league games played - They have only dropped points in a 1-1 draw at home to Carshalton Athletic and a 2-2 draw at Lewes. Since those draws they have won 10 games in a row scoring an incredible 35 goals!

The game of the day league position wise comes at Donkey Lane as second placed Enfield Town welcome Hastings United who currently in fifth place. Town have lost once in their last five league games scoring 14 goals with the visitors on a run of three wins in a row which corresponds with Chis Agutter being reappointed as boss following Paul Barnes departure.

At the bottom of the table their is a huge game at Coles Park as Haringey Borough (21st) host Kingstonian (20th) with the hosts gaining a good point at Margate on Tuesday evening in a 1-1 draw. It's a big week for The Ks who travel to Cheshunt on Tuesday evening - The Ambers are also struggling to find any run of form this season.

There should be another huge crowd at Champion Hill as Dulwich Hamlet host Folkstone Invicta. The visitors parted company with joint managers Michael Everitt and Roland Edge in the week and will have player/coach Andy Drury in temporary charge whilst a replacement is found.

Hamlet have an average league crowd of 2,478 with 3,334 present for last weekend's home game with Margate. League Two side's Accrington Stanley, Harrogate Town and Forest Green Rovers have lower averages. Fleetwod Town v Exeter City on League One last weekend has a crowd of 2,688!
