Northampton ON Chenecks are seven points clear at the top of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One with two games in hand over Moulton in second place. The Chens are favourites to go one better than last season where they were runner's up to Real Bedford before losing to Rugby Borough in the play-off final.
It's a Northampton 1-2-3 in the top three at the moment with just two miles separating Moulton and Northampton Sileby Ranger's grounds and then around four miles to The Old Northamptonians Sports Ground.
ON Chenecks are currently unbeaten in league games - Their next two games are away from home at 13th placed Rothwell Corinthians on Saturday and then 18th placed Irchester United on Saturday 9th December.
Moulton travel to Buckingham FC on Saturday who recorded a brilliant 0-1 win at Northampton Sileby Rangers last weekend.
Burton Park Wanderers are bottom of the table with just two wins in nineteen games. Their two victories came at Letchworth GC Eagles (1-2) and Huntingdon Town (2-5).
They are next in action in the league on Saturday 16th December when they travel to Langford.
