Looking at the league table this season and the respective records of teams over the first ten games it's hard to look past Hornchurch who won 8 games with their points total (26) only beaten by 14/15 Maidstone United (27) and 17/18 Billericay Town (28) who went on to gain 98 and 99 points over 46 games played. 

The only statistic to go against Steve Morrison's side is clean sheet - The facts show that no team with 1 clean sheet in their first ten has finished top. The fact The Urchins scored 28 goals which is equal only to 17/18 Billericay Town's record is very impressive along with the fact they were unbeaten in their first 10 games - In fact they have now played 12 games and are still without a defeat coming back from 0-1 and 1-2 down to eventually beat Folkestone Invicta 4-2 on Tuesday evening . 

The stats say that either Hornchurch, Billericay Town, Chatham Town, Carshalton Athletic, Lewes and Enfield Town will be crowned as champions as Whitehawk (5), Hashtag United (6) and Bognor Regis Town (5) have drawn too many games as no team with 4 or more draws in their opening 10 games have won the title going back to 2012.

FACTS & STATS 

Only Maidstone United (14/15) and Bishops Stortford (22/23) won their opening games of the season of all the recent champions since the 12/13 season. Whitehawk, Havant & Waterlooville, Billericay Town and Worthing all lost with Wealdstone, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Dorking Wanderers all drawing. 

No title winning team has lost more than two of their opening ten games. 

Six of the nine teams (66.67%) lost only one or none of their opening ten games. 

The average goals scored over the first ten games is 20.55 with the lowest being Hampton & Richmond on just 13 goals and the highest being Billericay Town on 24. 

The average goals conceded over the first ten games is 10.22  with the lowest being four teams on 8 goals and the highest being Worthing on 15. 

FTS (Fail To Score) - Only Whitehawk failed to score more than once in their 10 games played. They didn't find the back of the net on two occasions. 

CS (Clean Sheets) - Each title winning team had at least 2 clean sheets in their opening 10 games. 

Only Hampton & Richmond Borough on 4 wins have won under 5 games in their opening 10 games. 

Hampton & Richmond Borough of 15/16 are the only team with a negative goal difference. They lost 0-4 at home to Lewes in their 8th game of the season - The Rooks finished second from bottom of the division and that was one of only two away wins they had all season - the other was 0-1 win at Brentwood Town, who were also relegated.
