IT'S BEEN A WHILE - WILL THE CROCKS WIN A LEAGUE GAME SOON?

Crockenhill Football Club start their NRG 24HR Gym Kent County League season this weekend with a home game against Belvedere who played their first game at the weekend which was a 6-2 away defeat at Halls AFC Reserves. Both The Crocks and Belvedere were relegated from Division One West last season and will compete in Division Two West for the 23/24 season which is Step 9 of the non-league ladder.

Last season Belvedere's only win the league came at home against Crockenhill which was a 3-2 victory on Saturday 3rd December. The game at Wested Meadow ended 0-0 on the opening day of the season. The teams also played in The Bill Manklow Inter-Regional Cup Second Round which was a 7-2 win for The Crocks which was their only victory for the season which saw them lose to Equinoccial 10-0, Long Lane 2-10 and South East Athletic 12-0.

It's been a forgetful few seasons for The Crocks as they were relegated from the Premier Division in the 21/22 season with no wins, 4 draws and 26 defeats in 30 league games followed by no wins, 2 draws and 22 defeats in 24 league games last season.

Wested Meadow, pictured above, is one of the best non-league grounds to visit in the London and South East area so if you can why not take in a match at the ground.
