Crawley Green are still leading the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division but with some teams on eight games played and some on ten and eleven the table is somewhat distorted with perhaps Dunstable Town on 2.25 ppg and Leighton Town on 2.11 ppg the best placed teams. Dunstable Town and Leverstock Green are the only sides left without a defeat.
Or, if you take the adage of 'strikers win matches and defenders win titles' then Crawley Green, Stotfold and Leverstock Green are arguably best placed on four clean sheets each??
Crawley Green struggled last season finishing in eighteen place of a twenty-team table - One more win would equal the amount (8) of games they won over the whole season!
