QUALIFICATION FOR THE PLAY-OFFS TO STEP FIVE
Real Bedford lead the way in the Spartan South Midlands League Division One with thirteen wins from fourteen league games - their only defeat came in a recent home game against Rugby Borough who are currently in tenth position but have won five of their last six league games and have games in hand over teams above them so I think will be in the top five of the table soon. Will any team catch Real Bedford at the top of the table?
I was at Forde Park last Tuesday evening to see Ampthill Town beat Langford 0-4 with goals from Michael Draycott, Sam Holmes (2) and Jamie Cerminara. Highlights are below.
Ampthill followed this result up with a 1-2 home defeat to Eaton Socon who are in second place and having an amazing season following their promotion from the Cambridgeshire County League Premier Division.
A date for the diary is Saturday 19th November when Real Bedford host Eaton Socon at McMullen Park in a top of the table clash.
