A total of 732 football clubs will enter this season's FA Cup with less than a month to go to the Extra Preliminary Round. Listed below are the fixtures with my picks of the round.

GAMES OF THE ROUND
Tadcaster Albion v Tow Law Town
Just the fact this game will see The Brewers take on The Lawyers makes it sound like one not to miss!
The Lawyers return to the FA Cup for the first time since the 2013/14 season with a trip to Tadcaster Albion who have reached the Third Qualifying Round twice in 12/13 and 20/21. This is a Step 4 V Step 5 game with the home side in the Northern Premier League Division One (East) and Tow Law Town newly promoted back to the EBAC Northern League Division One for the first time since the 11/12 campaign.
Tow Law Town famously reached the Second Round in 1967/68 when they beat Mansfield Town 5-1 in the First Round and lost 2-6 to Shrewsbury Town in a replay after a 1-1 home draw. They have also got to the First Round on two occasions in the 1980s losing to Bradford City in 84/85 and Bishop Auckland in 89/90 - a run wich including a mammoth tie against Bridlington Town over three games which ended 0-0, 0-0 and 3-2.
Trafford v AFC Liverpool
An early Manchester v Liverpool cup tie should be hotly contested and hopefully well attended game. Trafford play at Step 4 in the Northern Premier League Division One (West) with AFC in the Step 4 North West Counties League Premier Division.
The little reds formed in 2008 first entered The Cup in 2010 and have only got as far as the 1st Qualifying Round once in the 15/16 season where they lost to Armthorpe Welfare. Trafford have got to the 3rd QR in 06/07, 12/13 and 13/14.
Hallam v Bury AFC
Fan formed Bury AFC are a fan's formed club in 2019 following Bury FC's withdrawal from the football league. They were formed as a phoenix club as many thought at the time Bury FC would not continue. However Bury FC is now under new ownership and expected to return to playing football in the 23/24 season at Gigg Lane. What this means for Bury AFC is not known at the moment but they make their debut in the FA Cup for the 22/23 campaign with a trip to Hallam.
This tie is champion v champion as Bury AFC won the North West Counties League Division One West in their debut season and will play in the Premier Division for the 22/23 campaign. Hallam won the Northern Counties East League Division One last season.
In the world's most historic cup competition this game will be played at Sandygate Road which is recognised as the oldest football ground in the World having first been used in 1860.
Daventry Town v Worcester Raiders
Another Step Four v Step Five clash as Northern Premier League Division One (Midlands) Daventry Town host Hellenic Premier Division side Worcester Raiders who after promotion from Step Six last season are making their debut in the FA Cup. They were formed in 2001 and currently ground share with Worcester Warriors rugby union club at Sixways Stadium which has a capacity of 11,499.
Wisbech Town v Ely City
A Cambridgeshire derby as The Robins make the 25 mile trip North to face The Fenman. A Step 5 v Step 5 game will be very well contested.
Stotfold v Newport Pagnell Town
The 2022 FA Vase winners have a tricky trip to Stotfold who won the SSMFL Division One title last season. Stotfold got to the 3QR in 07/08 beating Chesham United along the way to losing to Tonbridge Angels. The visitors haven't gone beyond the Preliminary Rounds since 12/13 campaign when they lost to Chalfont St Peter in the 1st QR.
Milton Keynes Irish v Tilbury
The Dockers won't be relishing their trip to MK Irish in a Step 5 v Step 4 encounter. Since they famously reached the Third Round in the 77/78 season the furthest they have got is the 3rd QR on two occasions. In their 77/78 run they beat Kingstonian, Bracknell Town, Witney Town, Feltham, Tonbridge, Kettering Town and Nuneaton Borough before losing to Stoke City in front of 16,301. In the Second Round City lost to non-league side Blyth Spartans at home by a scoreline of 2-3. MK Irish's history can be traced back via MK Robins and Buckingham Town who got to the First Rouns in the 84/85 season losing to Orient 0-2.
Barnstaple Town v Mousehole
An all Western League Premier Division game where Mousehole who came 3rd last season and are expected to push for promotion again in 22/23 travel to Barnstaple Town who were relegated from the Southern League Division One South last season. They return to Step 5 after a six season spell at Step 4 where they have struggled in the league finishing 17th, 21st, 19th, 20th*, 19th* and 19th. (*denotes curtailed seasons)
Barton Rovers v Arlesey Town
It's not just FA Cup glory on the line for these two local rivals it will also be 'The John Milton Plate' which is named in honour and memory of John Milton who was Chairman of both clubs during his lifetime.
It's tradition that whenever the play each other they play for The John Milton Plate much like The Brian Clough Trophy when Derby County play Nottingham Forest. This is a local derby and Step 4 v Step 5 game so will be eagerly anticipated by both clubs.
Hertford Town v Colney Heath
Another local derby as Step 4 Hertford Town welcome Step 5 (relegated from Step 4 last season) Colney Heath. This should be a really competitive game - If the BBC are to cover games in the Preliminary and Qualifying Rounds I think this would be a very good one to cover.
