Competitive football returns North of The Border over this weekend with the 22/23 Premier Sports Cup starting. The competition starts with eight groups of five teams with Celtic & Rangers (UEFA Champions League), Hearts of Midlothian (Europa League) and Dundee & Motherwell (Europa Conference League) all receiving byes to the second round.
The group stage will consist of 40 teams and includes the Highland League champion's Fraserburgh and Buckie Thistle along with Lowland League champion's Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic.
The winners of each of the eight groups along with the three best placed runner's up go through to the second round/last sixteen when the competition reverts to a knock-out format.
The three group winners with highest points total and European entrant teams will be seeded in the Second Round.
There are some interesting games tomorrow including two non-league v Premiership games with Fraserburgh welcoming Premiership Kilmarnock and Ross County travelling to Buckie Thistle.
The bookmakers rate Thistle's chances at 8/1 and The Broch at 18/1!
Albion Rovers are highest priced at present - they are rated at 25/1 to win at home against Livingston.

Peterhead v Aberdeen is to be played on Sunday and is live on Premier Sports.
St Johnstone, winners in 2021, play their first match on Tuesday at home to Annan Athletic.
