Full Back Bobby Price who made over 300 appearances for the club has departed along with forward Lewis White who was one of the stand out players in the Isthmian Premier last season - He has joined National South side Worthing.
Full Back Crossley Lema, 23, has signed from Margate whom he joined from Leatherhead last October. He came through the academy ranks at Sutton United where he started his career.
Centre Back Daryl Harrison has signed from Chertsey Town where he made 47 appearances last season.
Former Met Police and Farnborough goalkeeper Liam Beach has also joined the squad at Colston Avenue.
A stand out signing for me is Midfielder Gus Sow, 27, who has moved from Kingstonian where he had been since 2019. He came through the academy ranks at Crystal Palace signing a three year professional contract with The Eagles in 2012. After loan spells with Finnish side FC Honka and Farnborough he was unable to break through to the first team at Selhurst Park and joined St Albans City in 2015. He has also played for Dulwich Hamlet, Lewes and Merstham. He scored 14 goals in 48 appearances for The K's last season.
There is no news on any new players as yet for the historic club.
This is the first time in Cray's long history they have had a full time Manager in place.
Club Captain Anthony Cook has been retained for the 22/23 season. He scored 13 goals in 46 league games last season.
Midfielder Billy Crook has signed from Aveley where he was part of the Isthmian North's side Championship winning side after joining from Tilbury in December. He has also played for Dartford and Braintree Town in the National South and Enfield Town in the Isthmian Premier.
Defender Harold Joseph has signed from Enfield Town where he been a very popular player during two spells with the North London club. He has also played for Barnet, Stevenage, Hayes & Yeading United, St Albans City, Royston Town and Welling United.
Defender's Harold Joseph (as above) and Jerry Gyebi have departed along with Midfielder Emmanuel Maja.
Cugley has made some decent signings to his already impressive squad.
Experienced Left Back Nathan Green has joined from South-East Division side Cray Valley. He began his career with Croydon Athletic winning the Isthmian Division One South title in 09/10 and then moving to Lewes who were then in the Conference South. He moved onto Bromley and Billericay Town where he was a member of their Isthmian Premier title winning squad in the 11/12 season. He also played for Kingstonian and Tonbridge Angels before joining Dagenham and Redbridge in 2014 who were then a League Two side.
He was only able to make eight appearances for The Daggers before joining Dartford and then moving on to Margate for the 15/16 season and Dulwich Hamlet from 2016 to 2019. He then played for Welling United for two seasons before joining Cray Valley last summer.
Defender Ian Gayle, 29, was a team mate of Nathan Green at Cray Valley last season - He was with the club on a dual-registration basis together with Vanarama South side Eastbourne Borough. He came through the academy ranks at Dagenham & Redbridge where he was from 2011 to 2016 spending time on loan with a host of non-league clubs - St Neots Town, Grays Athletic, Kingstonian, Histon, Whitehawk, St Albans City, Bishop's Stortford and Welling United. In the 2016/17 season he signed for Braintree Town who were then a Vanarama National League side - He has also played for Welling United. Wealdstone and Woking.
Winger Kadell Daniel, 28, has signed from Hayes & Yeading whom he joined last summer. Born in Lambeth he played for both Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic before dropping down into the non-league game with Woking. He has since played for Dulwich Hamlet, Leatherhead, Dover Athletic, Margate, Kingstonian and Hampton & Richmond Borough. He has 13 full International caps and 3 goals for Guyana.
Goalkeeper Bailey Vose joins from Cray Wanderers - He also spent some time with Billericay Town last season. He has also played for Margate, Colchester United, Dartford and came through the academy ranks at Brighton & Hove Albion.
James Rogers has joined from Hythe Town. The former Dartford, Dover Athletic and Maidstone United played is a hugely experienced 37 year old midfielder. He was player/manager at Hythe Town from November to the end of the season last season.
Players leaving Invicta are Ryan Johnson, Kieron McCann and Luke Wanadio. Alfie Paxman, who joined the club from Ramsgate in May 2018, has joined Vanarama South side Dover Athletic along with Wanadio who joined Invicta last summer from Dartford.
